If my tots are under two years old I bake them. 3 years old or older I deep fry them. Above age 18 I roast them.

Look, you know child abuse is illegal. I just beat the crap outta my kids. Take care to hit without leaving telltale marks. Frying or baking your tots will result in a long sentence, and I can tell from your question that you're simply not up to it.

Now that we got a fryer for Christmas we fry up our fries and tots. They are better then baked and come out all crispy and good tasting and not all dried up.

They have to be baked. Frying them make them soggy.

BAKE! We tried deep frying them last time, and they got mushy and crumbly. Baking always makes them turn out crispy. Little salt, pepper, and hearty doses of balsamic vinegar.
