I'm thinking about buying a flower and fed-ex- ing it. What is the best way to do so?

a fragile flower? it would need to be encased in a 3-4 sided sort of protection. if you could fashion some cardboard casing, then that would be placed in another cushioned box. use packing peanuts/popcorn. the flowers shops carry rubber tipped vials that you place the stem in to hold water for the trip. hope its not going too far or its too cold. better hurry if its for v-day!

Great Gift!
I would put wet paper towel around the ends of flowers and put aluminum foil around moist paper towel to prevent it from drying. It will only help for a short distance traveling though.
