Some Of The Explorers Have A Little Door On The Left Side Of The Dash Just Under The Steering Wheel & Some Are Located Under The Dash You Will Have To Use A Flashlight To Find It Or It Might Be The Bulb It,s Self . If It,s The Bulb Just Undo The Screws On The Dash Panel By Useing A Philips Screw Driver Or A Star Driver It,s Like A Philips Screw But Has More Heads. Then Turn Your Light,s On To Find The Right Bulb If It,s Black On The Tip Then It,s Blowed Go To Autozone The Dashlight Bulbs Are Only $ 3.25 Or So For 2 Bulbs

The fuse panel is located under the hood on most newer cars. See if the dash lights have a dimmer switch. One of the mechanics could've inadvertantly dimmed them when they were working on it.

The fusebox is located on the left of the dash when you open the dppr, open it and you will see all the fuses.
