what i mean is they deleted my answer before it was posted and then deleted two questions before i could even try to answer them.

Doc, we know about the mysteries of the black hole. We are closer and closer to finding cures for certain cancers. Global warning.... we have a finger on that button. But how Yahoo runs this little message board will probably always be one of the greater mysteries of mankind.

Yep they've gone totally bonkers. I answered a question on why some leaves have a shiny waxy coating by saying it helps prevent water loss (which it does - I have a goddam science qualification so I should know) ... and I was given a violation for "not a question or answer".!!!!
The main issue seems to be that some of the Y!A staff are even dumber than the idiots who report (which is incredibly dumb)

People have been complaining about that for a while, but the real sickos haven't been getting their questions and answers deleted. it was a free-for-all, yesterday. The pervs, racists and morons were having a great time. The yahoo team were just letting them get away with it

Yea... they must have new QA bandits that are on a rampage... I had 2 questions deleted yesterday and someone reported me twice yesterday... for pretty basic stuff at that...
