It depends which do you prefer, having money and a girlfriend or having lots of comics?
If you have the money and really want them then go for it. If that is enough to really p*ss off your girlfriend it is probably only a matter of time anyway, it's not like you can hide your love of comics forever anyway. I find space to be an annoying limiting factor though.

No. The preferred route is to get a subscription through a local comic store. They buy on bulk and will give discounts to you (10% or more) if you subscribe to enough comics (usually 10 or more). When you are in the store, you can then pick up special mini-series and other things not available by subscription.
Lastly, comics can get messed up when sent through the mail because they are so thin.
Most comics are about $3 a piece or more per month. 40 comics would be $120 a month or $1440 a year minimum. That's a lot of money.

First let me say that the US is one of the only places that have a hang up on comics, in Asia you can see grown men AND women reading comics on the train on their way to work. As the owner of a comic shop, I would say that a subscription to all of them may not be very practical. There are so many titles out there that you would be spending a ton of money on some titles you may not like. They have a book of previews that comes out every month that you could check out to see what you may like. my customers get them for free but the run about 3.99.To get that you can go to previews.diamondcomics.com. Also, if you are reading them and are not a collector, then by all means get them from the cheapest place you can. If you are a collector,I would check out comic shops in the area, that way you can really see the condition they are in because the condition of the book has a direct affect on the future value.Good luck.

a million.) ask your self. extra fact. much less corny. 2.) My well-known superhero or only 1 single comedian? My astounding 3 superheroes are Spider-guy, Captain u.s., and Batman in that order. yet my one single well-known comedian? i could no longer even go with. possibly that's Deadpool's first visual charm. 3.) ask your self - Spider-guy 2. DC - The dark Knight. all around - The dark Knight.

umm... no. why would you waste your money? its not good to be obsessed like that about something. maybe you should pay your girlfriend some attention instead of reading 40 comics a month. geek.

Just so you know, you can borrow comics from your local library for free. So maybe she won't be as mad if you don't pay for them.
