Any Vegas dealers, pit bosses or experienced players out there. I have a few questions about how comps are determined:
1. In Craps, is it true that only pass line bets and come bets are counted for comp purpose, where as odd bets (with zero house advantage) are not counted?
2. In Blackjack, am I going to be comped differently if I play $200 per hand as opposed to playing two hands at the same time of $100 each.

Comps are figured based on the amount of money you have on the table, per hand, spin or roll. It will make no difference if you play 2 hands or one.
comps = your bet $ x number of hands(spins/rolls) per hour x the games expected win = you can expect a % of the casinos "expected" win to be returned to you in comps
The floor will fill out a rating sheet on you. Your average bet, the game you play and how long you play.
If you play $200 per hand at any casino in LV for 4 hours a day, you should get your rooms/food/booze comped at most 4 star hotels and at a minimum the casino rate and meals at 5 star. 3 star or less and you should get just about anything you ask for so long as it's not illegal or immoral.

Wherever you play get a players card. You will probably need one before you get any comps. You can ask the pitboss if you need one or not. Also, whatever you play, ask to be rated. They will keep their eye on you and see what your average bet is and how long you play to determine what comps you get.

from what i have seen, it is just about the amount of money you are betting and i have never done comps at craps
