The sun shines on every square foot of the Continental US every day. Sometimes it has to shine through a cloud cover, but a certain portion of the sun's light gets through. Otherwise it would be completely dark on cloudy days.

Its defiantly not Florida even tho its called the sunshine state. Maybe Maine?

it does but only in desserts and not everyday but there is sun in the u.s.
