Eggwhite cervical fluid is stretchy. That is the easiest way to determine if it is eggwhite or else watery. Obtain some cervical fluid on your thumb and forefinger. If it stretches when you pull your fingers apart it is classified as eggwhite. The stretchier the better, as this is the most sperm friendly CF. Good luck!!

This is not a dumb question. Raw egg whites are clear have the same look and consistency of discharge during ovulation. (which lasts about 3 days middle of cycle). It will be sticky, stretchy and clear. After ovulation the discharge becomes white and thicker. This is a non fertile time.
Sounds like you've confused cooked egg whites with RAW.

The reason they call egg whites -white is because when you cook an egg the it turns white around the yolk. I have heard that your discharge can be clear like that when you ovulate but don't determine ovulation strickly by discharge. There are alot better methods-body temp, ovulation kits, etc. Good Luck with trying.

Crack an egg and look at the whites. That is what egg whites look like. While I do not know if the assumptions are true or not, egg whites look clear while still in the shell.

Like the white of a raw egg. The yellow part is the yolk, the rest is the white. It is called the white because it turns white when you cook it. Hope that helps.
