Can you use yeast infection treatments such as Monistat-5 while you're on your period?

I have yet to buy the treatment...if I can't use it while on my period, why would I buy it? OBVIOUSLY this is why I'm asking this question here first.

Yes. But you should not use tampons while being treated as the tampon will absorb the cream and won't treat what its supposed to. You need to use pads for this period, if you don't already.

no. i was told by a doctor finish your period then start the treatment. the flow of your period will prevent the medicine from being absorbed
