I have been on the pill for years. My periods have always been like clockwork, starting 3 days after my last pill. I get a zit, and the day before I get cramping. This month I took my last pill on 1/31, and it's now 2/6 and I haven't started yet. I have had very light spotting, but no uncomfort. I've been tired, but I also just got over a cold. I have dizzy spells, however lately they seem to be a little more frequent or it takes less to set them off. I just know that something is different with my body, this is not normal for me. Please let me know what you think!

A bit harsh southside, she has actually been using contraception so why should she have to 'keep he legs closed'?!

Maybe you are just ill which may have delayed it. But usually with the pill your period would start anyway because it is a withdrawal bleed because of the break in the pills. I think you should go to the Drs to see what the possible causes of this could be as you should have a period in your 7 day break. It is unusual not too and it is possible to become pg on the pill. I have had friends that have.

When I was on the pill sometimes I only needed a pantyliner during my period, other times it was heavier. You can rule out pregnancy by taking an Early Response Home pregnancy test. They are the most sensitive on the market, consumer reports rated it tops.

If you are not pregnant and do not have a normal period on your next cycle, schedule an appointment with your OB/gyn.

Best of luck to you. Take care.

Fatigue, dizzness and if you have headaches along with a funny period...I would take a test to be safe.

I thought I was coming down with something when I had the same symptoms but I was pregnant

Yes, you could be pregnant. However, not necessarily.

However, you're not going to get a sure answer from this forum.
Go buy a pregnancy test from the local supermarket or see your doctor.

I dont think you're pregnant. I think your hormone levels need checked, or that you're body just decided to not have a period this placebo cycle.
