where is the space station? I know its in America, but what is the state? I have a feeling its new york but Im not sure. That is for a project Im doing
and just out of curiosity, what does it stand for?

There are different divisions of NASA at various locations. The space station is held at Cape Canaveral in Florida (I'm not sure, but I think they launch off their spacecraft near Miami, FL).

there are centers all over the country, such as the one right down the street from me, goddard space flight center in greenbelt maryland. the two most famous are mission control, whcih is in houston texas, and cape canavral in florida, whic is where the manufacturing and launching, and all that other good stuff occurs
