Once again, Hollywood producers/promoters will say and do anything to get us to see their junk -- instead of "let's only make movies from great scripts" and "Jim Carrey's still worth it?".

I agree, doesn't make sense.......This is how I see it

2+0+0+1+9+1+1=14

instead they kept 11 as it is.....

By numerology standards it would be figured as:
2+0+0+1+9+1+1=14
14= 1+4 = 5
The actual number of this date is 5. Nothing similar to what hollywood figured.

2001+9+11

2+1+9+11
2+1=3
3+9=12
12+11=23


equals 23

Actually 2+0+0+1+9+1+1=14 is how a numerologist would really do it, and yes it's all stupid publicity. Why not advertise the movie as being about obsession, that's just as interesting.

2001=20+01=21
9=9
1+1=2
9+2=11
21+11=42

42 equals everything.

Take the 2 and the 1 from 2001 and add to the 20 and you have 23!!!!

Pretty simple!
