Try to sneak a peak at some jeans she has laying around. This would be your best bet.

If you are in doubt, buy them smaller than you think. This way you can return them for the right size and she won't be upset that you thought she was larger than she really is.

The "S" means short and the "R" means Regular (average height which is 5'7" for women).

She sounds like she's going to need a size that says either Long "L" or Tall "T" if she's 5'10" which isn't listed on that site. You need to find another shop that has tall sizes. Also most sites have a Size Chart that would tell you what sizes in their particular design fits according to height and measurements.

well,if she's 5'10", then i'd go for the longer pants. 's' means short, 'r' is regular etc. 34-35"inseam would be what you wanna buy. as for the size..why dont you ask her? it all depends on how big her thighs, butt, hips are. maybe a size 3 or 5?

look at a sizing chart most websites have... or look at the jeans she already has...

They'll explain what measurements go with what size

S, P, R, and L meas Short, Petite, Regular and Long

No i haven't performed that, yet I in many circumstances purchase rings for piercings i've got not got yet or ear rings in my purpose length which i'm not at yet (my ears are stretched), so if I in no way get the piercing/get to the purpose length I wasted funds. :D
