I have read and it has been suggested that some people who have recieved organ transplants have aquired personality traits of their donors.
As a heart transplant recipient I must say I have experienced no such phenomenon myself. However I reserve judgement until I am satified personally that the existing informationm on the subject confirms or refutes claims that cellular memory exists.
I invite anybody who has direct or indirect knowledge of a donor organ that was transplanted and changed the personality of the recipient.

I know a man that never danced in his life until he received a liver from a professional dancer. Now, you can't keep him off the dance floor. Is this a personality trait from the donor or just a new zest for life aquired from a new lease on life? Dunno, but it is evidence...

As a recipient you probably would be the last to notice if your personality has changed. The people who are close to you would be a better judge.

I personally think that an organ recipient more than likely goes through some sort of change, but I think it is due to the experience of being sick and fighting for your life then the operation and recovery that does it. Getting a second chance would make most people more apppreciative of life.

Technically, the donor's DNA is present within every cell of the donated organ so the information for defining someone's personality is there BUT there is no way for that genetic data to propogate itself elsewhere in the body.

I'd guess that it's merely a coincidence and/or wishful thinking from the donor's friends/family.

Personality does not derive from DNA in a transplanted organ.

Personality is a little bit controlled by your heredity, and a lot controlled by conditioning, do to your experiences over a lifetime.
