some ideas:
1) what month are you due in? If you believe in astrology, you could discover his sign and base his name somehow upon that. For example, I was due in July, making my baby a Cancer which is a water sign. The name "Julian" means king of the sea so that was my planned name for a boy.
2) decide upon a word that symbolises a lot on your life, then rearrange the letters to make a new name that holds those meaningful feelings. For example, beauty=taubey (Toby) but I had that picked for a girl, didnt end up using it though, too many people didnt like it.
3) Make a combination from your name and your husbands name. For example, my cousin is Jessica and her man is Jeremy and they thought of the name Jerica for a girl.
4) If you have an Idol or someone you want to name him after, think about using last names as his first name. For example my stepson is named Rourke, after Mickey Rourke, but no one else has his name.
Whatever you choose now, youre sure to change a hundred times before you give birth. As you get to know your baby, as he begins to move around and you become more connected to him you will have an easier time deciding on something that feels right.
Good luck! and congrats!

Looking for a name that "stands out" is meeting your need, not that of the human life about to pop out. Seriously, I think children stuck with unique and/or original names are at a disadvantage because the parent's "taste" will forever be visited on the child and it can realistically affect their chance to succeed in many career fields. Names that have stood the test of time such as David, Sarah, Kevin, Nora, Samuel or Judy retain their class and are not subject to the discriminatory "taste" factor.
That said, I am often amazed that adults saddled with highly ethnic variations do not simply change their first name. Shaniqua can simply become Shanni and overnight, a burden is lifted. I think the name Shaniqua is quite beautiful but it is a name better suited to an adult woman who can "wear" it with class. A 10-year old with that name has an identity thrust upon her whether or not a parent wished that to happen.
Common sense is class, as I see it. Good luck in your search.

Kalen, Colby, Xaden, Zaine, Drake, Eezikial, There are many modern names that you can turn and put your own unique twist on. Like Brandon can be turned into Braiden. Good Luck and I hope you find the perfect name for your little one.

Try to make a mixing of your name and your partners name.
You can mix letters from both names or even spell them backwards and see what you come up with hoping it will not be some wired name.

Kaleb Cole is extremely lovable, yet only for me, im not a huge fan of the call Kaleb, on account that im better of a cutting-edge call form of man or woman and Kaleb is a ltitle previous formed :) in case you opt on, the "ok" call should be Kenan Cole Burnett - Kenan is said [Ken-Nin] :) congrats! the KC nickname is ideas-blowing!
