I've been on birth control since August 7, 2006 and plan on April being my last month of this year for a while. Just wanted to know how long it would be that i would need to worry about being pregnant.

I was on birth control for two years and stopped to get pregnant. The very next month, I was pregnant. Same thing with my second child. I was on birth control for two years and the very next month I was pregnant. As you can see, once you're off birth control pills you're good to go!

I am 26 years old and I had been on birth control (the pill) for 10 years. The general rule of thumb is you should expect about 1 month for every year (so in my case it should have taken around 10 months) but usually it take about 6 months. I fell pregnant after 2 months which shocked everyone but the best advice I can give you is to relax and enjoy sex. If you make it a chore to fall pregnant then your body will actually work against you. If you enjoy sex and have it often without thinking about having a baby then it will probably happen really quickly (like in my case). I can't tell if me period were regular or not because I only had 1 after stopping the pill :)

It depends on the birth control and the woman it can be as early as the next unprotected ovulation or it may be a few months it just depends on how long the hormones take to phase out.
For me i was on ortho tri cyclen(for like 1 1/2 years or more) and decided to stop and take a chance well i took my last pill had a period and 2 weeks later when i ovulated i got pregnant and found out a few days before i missed my period by feeling ill and sure enough the doctor confirmed it so thats why i say its different of course some people will probaly say it doctor recommended to wait like 3-6 months to make sure you have no hormones from bc but it is proven that women on a multi hormonal pill return to fertility quicker than other forms so hope that helps

I was on BC for 11 years and stopped on December 24 2006 and I found out I was pregnant on January 19th 2007. I thought it would have taken longer but I guess not. If you are not TTC I would suggest using something just in cast, if not then good luck!!!!

6 weeks!

I was on the pill for 7 years and I conceived in 5 weeks. That whole "you won't get pregnant for a while" thing isn't always true.
