i wouldn't say illegal. in the states you can date someone even if you are married. swinging (sharing partners) or just having an open relationship. but if there is a bad divorce and you have a lot to lose you might not want to be caught in situation that might be detrimental to your case. in the states it's pretty much up to the married couples, weather they are married or divorced to have other relations other that there spouse

As long as you are legally separated, meaning you both signed the separation papers and that a divorce is pending I don't see where dating would be a illegal act.

It is legal i think but not right... The divorce should be final first. Then go for it. Consult a lawyer and ask them about this too.

no i don't think its illegal. but the thing is if its a state where its not good and he/she can't take pictures or proof of this seeing soemone else then be careful can be used in divorce.
