Well, the Knicks are still in playoff contention, so I guess that means he's doing a good job.

He's never done a good job at anything since retiring as a player. He was average as coach of the Pacers. He made the CBA go out of business. He was the Matt Millen of the NBA with the Knicks. Now he is an okay coach for the Knicks, doing a decent job. Remember the Knicks are in the weakest division!

When they first hired him I remember thinking "What the hell???" He's left on not-so great terms wherever he's been in the past, left the CBA is shambles....he's just has had a bad effect in general, and was disliked as a player even though he's in the Hall of Fame. I knew this crap was going to happen to the Knicks when he came aboard, and I think the fight this past weekend will be the nail in the coffin. If he's not fired soon he will be at the end of the season.

I think that he is not the best evaluator of talent and not a good motivator. I am expecting this one-year-to-prove-himself ultimatum from the owner to be the end of his time with the Knicks.

He's doing an Ok job. Jeffries was a bad sign, and Thomas probably plays him too much trying to justify his contract. Balkman, lee, and quentin are all better choices at sf.

I guess if you consider they have as many wins as the defending champion Miami Heat, I guess you could say yes. But with all the talent New York has, I think they could be better. All in all, not bad, but not good either. There are talks about him going to Detroit Pistons... Im not sure if i want him coaching the pistons. We will see.
