Two of the most reputable newspapers in America are the New York Times www.newyorktimes.com, and the Washington Post www.washingtonpost.com. Also some other newspapers are USA Today www.usatoday.com, and the Baltimore Sun is good too www.baltimoresun.com. In addition to these, you can find almost any US newspaper on http://www.world-newspapers.com/usa.html. The Wall Street Journal is also a good source. The Washington Times, though reputable to some, has a heavy conservative bias. Good luck!

The Washington Times and the Wall Street Journal have the most consistently RELIABLE news. These two have NEVER been discredited for biased or made-up stories.
Forget the New York Times except for amusements or crossword puzzles. The Times has hired and recruited people and bought fabricated stories many times over the years. Their occasional scoops (first printed stories and news flashes) may impress but their overall reliability is POOR and LIBERALLY biased. Unfortunately many newspapers are owned by the same tycoons, many of which lose money spewing half-truths and falsehoods. For scoops, give me DRUDGEREPORT!
The guy tells it as it is (after checking his sources). Drudge is a real journalist who scooped on the Monica Lewinsky affair and many other things.
