For instance, the Afro-Americans ,the peoplewho were brutally enslaved by the slave trade now seek to go back to Islam-which is really another brutal form of cruelty. Why can these people go back to their ancient religion of the true Africans and thus aim to free themselves to be thier own? Whan are they ever going to be free rather than be proxy Muslims? The converts do not realise that they have nothing in common with the founder of Islam. Comments kindly please.

How odd that you ask to be replied to kindly when you have rudely insulted a religion and a race. Islam itself is not a brutal or inslaving religion, the laws put in it by men in the name of Allah sometimes are. Christian religion did this as well. Think the inquisition. African Americans are free to follow which ever religion they choose. Its thier choice that they thought through. Lets be honest. The slaves where sold to the traders by other African tribes who supposedly would have followed their traditional African religion. When they came to America they were brought into Christianity which pretty much ignored their plight for centuries teaching them that their troubles would be over when they died. Yes that has changed, but the damage was done. Why shouldnt they look for a religion that offers them peace and solace and pride? Having faith is not being led by the nose, its looking for direction and goals. Before you make blanket statements about races or religions please do your research and think with an open mind and kind heart. Because you do not believe something, doesnt make it wrong for those who do.

This is happening all over people just cant make up their own individual minds about issues they are constantly influenced by tv and other media who because of their repeated and constant influence actually alter peoples attitudes and beleifs and the sheep like citizens follow along swept up by the hype
Then there are the people who just cant do anything without being told how to do it even the simplest things have to be spelt out and done for them because they no longer posses common sense or reason

MY OPINION IS THAT MANY PEOPLE , NOT ONLY THE AFRO-AMERICANS WANT TO BE LED BY THE NOSE FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON: BY THEM SELF THEY CAN'T TAKE ANY DECISIONS BUT WHEN THE RELIGION IS ASKING THEM TO DO SOMETHING THEY DO IT BECAUSE THE RELIGION SAYS SO. FOR EG. A WOMAN WHEN ITS NOT MARRIED DOESN'T COOK VERY MUCH BUT WHEN SHE IS ,SHE COOKS BECAUSE ' SHE MUST -ITS MARRIED
