How odd that they don't specify dosage or frequency on the back of the package?
What brand is it?
If you can, check online - they should have website / phone number on the packaging, and they should be able to tell you how often to and how much to dose.
How long have you owned the shark? Silver sharks are schoolers and they are really big fish; a school of 4-5 individuals should be in no smaller than 125 gallons. If your tank is too small, or/and if he's by himself, that may be causing stress, which can lead to illness / disease such as fungus, finrot, etc. Treat the fungus but look into the underlying cause.
During treatment, make sure to keep the water ultra clean, like 20% water changes every other day, to prevent secondary infection. A little salt in the water will also help.

Generally speaking for fungus a 4-5 day treatment is the normal course. There arre some treatments that require only one dose and will stay in the water as long as you don't have carbon in the filter taking it back out. The package should have a toll free number for you to call or look the company up on the web to get a phone number. Give them a call and ask for proper dosage information. Be ready to tell them what kind of fish you have, tank size etc...
Also, please be aware that a fungus rarely attacks a healthy fish. You very well may have another disease going on in the tank as well. Watch closely for signs of anything else especially fin rot.

Treat him once a day. And make sure you take the carbon out of your filter, or the carbon will take it right out. Also, read the instructions again and see if it suggests cutting the dose in half for sharks and catfish--they have more sensitive skin and you often have to reduce the dose. Good luck!

i would simply remove the dolphin to a temporary tank, then treat the infected tank. keeping an eye the dolphin to make sure he really doesn't have anything.
