Yep, I hit Hard Level last night! With that orange button being added, there are now FIVE buttons to hit...I have FOUR fingers! (I did the math.) Who has suggestions for me? What do YOU do as far as placing your fingers on the buttons for best effect?
Any help MUCH appreciated! I tried my first song on Hard Level and got creamed!!!!!

Thanks for the help so far! I figured that placing the middle three fingers on the middle three buttons would be the logical choice. Just hoping for any "tricks" anyone has for reaching the green and orange on the ends...

shifting your hand.....moving your whole hand down so your index finger sits on red, and your pinky can sit on the orange...and then shift it back up, or further down so you can hit those chords...

You do not need much knowledge of music at all to play this game, but I would recommend a like for music. There are tutorials in the game to teach you how to play. While gameplay resembles a real guitar, it is very simple with only five buttons for your left hand to control. If you love classic and modern rock, get the game and guitar controller.

Try keeping 3 fingers on the 3 middle keys. It will take getting used to, but if you can get it you can switch to the green and orange when you need too. Have Fun. :)

I'm just getting good at medium! I can't imagine hard! That orange button scares me! Try playing something really easy like Surrender or Shout At The Devil first.

Slide your fingers down starting with red button and use your pinky for the orange button.

haha guitar hero is da sex<33 omg i cant get enough of it...but my suggestion to you is before i play i kinda warm my hands up because one day i played like right away and i sucked hardcore because my fingers were numb and cold so yea that helps me alot :D message back if this helps you i want to know <3

I'm curious to this as well, I'm on hard level with Guitar Hero I, and I have the same problem.
