Ok, so maybe i should clarify what i'm trying to say..... How would you feel if someone came your your land, (home) what have you, and just took it over slowly but surely... wouldn't you have anger at them and at those who supported them? wouldn't you just want your land back? in this case you can't blame the arabs because after all they, in the very beginning, wanted to resolve the conflict peacefully and it was the zionists that said it could not be resolved without "force majeure"

Ok, so maybe i should clarify what i'm trying to say. first off i am an atheist and i am not bringing any religous aspects into this question it simply has to do with someone taking what was originally someone elses.... i dont think it would solve all the worlds conflicts but it would be a help. Arabs wonder why the US get involved in conflicts around the world and then support Israel. No country should own land belonging to another country

If America tried to get Israel to get rid of its Nuclear Weapons it would help a lot in their negotations with Iran. It would mean Iran could back down without saving face

Not really a question is it?

First of all it is Israel not Palestine. Israel is a land that was given to the Jews over 2000 years ago, after the Israelites were released from slavery in Egypt. Read your Bible - starting with the book of Exodus. There is an inextricable connection between the Jews, the land of Israel and the Bible with hundreds of positive commandments related to the land - for example the mitzva (or commandment) to let the land lie fallow every 7 years.

The Palestinians (or as they are sometimes termed - Philistines) were a sea-faring people that lived on the coast of Israel at the time of the exodus from Egypt.

There is no biological or any other connection between the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians today and the real Palestinians that used to live in Israel.

In the early 20s when Jews started resettling Israel (there was always a Jewish settlement in Israel albeit small even after the destruction of the second temple in 72) - there were less than 350,000 Arabs in the entire area. The relations between Jew and Arab in those times were excellent and very amicable.

The British ruled the land of "Palestine" at the time and ruled by the method of "divide and conquer" and fomented deliberate altercations between the parties.

This forum is too short to tell the entire story of the rise of Islamic terror thru the 50s, 60s and 70s to date - but as one of the other persons pointed out - almost all of global terror is Islamic - not Jewish or Christian. The Islams call for destruction of synagoges and churches, the Jews and Christians dont call for the destruction of mosques. The Islams believe that they will conquer the entire Western world by the force of the sword just like the prophet Mohammed did almost a 1000 years ago.

So - in answer to your question - it is far more likely that most of the world conflict could be solved by explaining to the Islamic world that violence will get them nothing.

How would that solve Darfur? Would kicking Isreal out of Isreal have had an impact on the civil wars in South America in the '80s? Will that solve the conflict on the Korean peninsula? How about Kashmir or Sri Lanka?

No actually most of the worlds conflicts could be stopped by kicking Muslims off the planet, I remember an article which mentioned that out of 48 on going conflicts in the world in 2000 46 involved Muslims, not that I support Israels foreign policy.

Most of the conflict in the world would be solved if everyone became ISLAM...then Muslims would fight each other as they have for thousands of years.
Israel is just a lightning rod for Arab hostility. Momahhad even told them NOT TO KILL EACH OTHER yet Sunni hates and kills Shiite and Wahabi cuts off hands, etc. There is HONOR KILLING if a Muslim girl dates an "infidel" or even the "wrong " kind of Muslim.
So why would betraying all the Arab Isralis and Jew Isralis solve anything? Arab Isralis even have a politician representative now.

I won't bring religious aspects too. Say it gently: " Let the Jews go back to Europe and America" so we can live freely. Otherwise, the Palestinians won't forget their lands.

Not in the world, but in the Middle East yes...
but we have to deal with the fact that Israel is there and that as long as it has US support no one is going to kick it out of Palestine.
