One gets me back for another.
Two gets me grunting, incoherently.
Three can get me functioning enough to drive - if it's pay day, three will get me sufficiently coherent to both drive, and buy ciggies.
Four seems to be the magic number. It's as though I break free from my chrysalis, so to speak, and transform into a functioning, coherent person.
Don't ask me how it works.
I tried putting four heaped teaspoons of coffee, eight sugars, water and milk into a cup, but it was like stirring cement, and tasted foul.
There is, of course, an exception to the above.
Such as the rare instances when my wife needs me functioning, ready, on my feet, Now.
That's when my Automatic Wonderful Husband gene kicks in, no coffee needed, then.

Two. My "cup" holds 15 ounces though. That's almost a quart. Doctor says I might want to cut back. What does she know? She's married but I think she's a lesbian. She walks funny. My wife used to work with her. Do you think my wife's a lesbian too? Maybe that's why she's not into sex with me. That's ok though, because I have a "special friend". I'm going to see her on Thursday. Her name is Sara. My daughter's name is Sarah too. Do you think that means something? One is with an 'h', the other is without. Anyways, I gotta go get some more coffee. I hate it when somebody at work leaves a half cup of coffee left in the pot and doesn't make some more. GRRRRRRRRRRR.

None. I don't drink coffee. But I do require my daily liquid vitamin - 1,000 mg of vitamin C per packet - yummm!
