The most likley cause is bladder infection. I would get some Melafix to treat it and also start feeding the goldfish leafy greens or zuchini to help prevent it.

Its got some sort of bladder problem, it will live for quite a while then die due to starvation and posibly lack of oxygen. I think the bladder gets filled with air, hence it cannot swim properly. I am only telling u this out of memory so I could be wrong in bits of what I said.

Usually that means a swim bladder infection. Once a swim bladder infection gets that bad it's very, very difficult to treat with any measure of success. Give the fish a day or two to see if it recovers ( it's possible) but be prepared that it will most likely not make it no matter what you do.

I,m not an expert in fish sickness but it seems your goldfish is seek. try to ask some pet shop regarding this, maybe they could be of help.

maybe an infected swim bladder. You can get treatment for it at Pets at Home,. there is a liquid that you add to the water. Hope this helps.

mines the same also...mines been upside down and then sideways and then normal - its really wierd, its been happening for a while and then the other one goes and buries its head in the stones. i know im doing something wrong but dont know what. im gonna keep on watching your answers.
