Ring 02 and give them your mobile number if you know it. They will try to put a block on a sim. If you have registered the phone then o2 will have the imei number and serial for the phone. To be honest if its a payg phone and havent registered then you're up a gum tree.

call o2 as they should have a record of the original sim that was in the phone so can trace the serial number, if you where on contract! if not then you must try and find the box or receipt or anything that can help o2 identify your phone!!
good luck

O2's systems record the IMEI of thephone you were last using, call them and ask them to block all the texts and calls -etc .
Nearly all companies record this information to stop stolen phones from getting used. In some cases the Serial Code on the back of the box you bought it in might help.
uummm..... Good luck in finding it and kick his a*s when it gets recovered.!!!

Some retailers record the IMEI number on their computor systems and therefore should be able to let you have it. If you purchased it from the network they will certainly have it recorded.
O2 will be able to block your SIM card if you give them your mobile number.
The serial number is also on the box the phone came in if you still have that.

Just ring O2. They block it via the IMEI number not the SIM, so no matter what SIM is in that phone it won't work.

If you still have the box (or have registered the phone in your name with 02) you will have IMEI number. This allows the network provider to block the phone.
Ring 02 and they will do the rest.

To disable a stolen phone you need to notify the service provider of its IMEI number
Prior to its theft you should have checked this number by dialling *#06# and made a note of it ... if you now have no known way of determining this number from your records (or the sales literature provided), I can only suggest you speak to the Crime Prevention Officer of your local police force.

O2's systems will record the IMEI of the handset you were last using, call them and ask them to check it and then bar the phone.
All companies record this data as they have to in order to block stolen phones, since it became a more serious offence.

if you have the phone number, they can turn off the number. No matter what, they can't make it so that phone can't use another sim.

if it's a fairly new phone then your provider will be able to send a signal to the phone and render it useless then claim on your insurance for a new phone
