lol is old already that was used in the beginning of cell phone texting so it wouldnt use up space and cost less to send

I actually do laugh out loud when I type lol why should I fake laugh if something isnt funny but I know people who type it alot alot and I mean hello I see you and your not laughing (lol)<< yeah I did laugh out loud then too :)

I think 1% of people actually laugh when they type lol. I catch myself typing it all the time without even cracking a smile.

"in the beginning of cell phone texting"??? I was using LOL and ROTFLMAO and IMHO when I got my first 300 baud modem in 1984.
Cell phones were only for the very rich back then, and there was no such thing as texting.
