Are hot dogs really made from pigs' snouts and unused meat scraps? Contrary to popular belief, hot dogs are not made from left-over meat laying around on the floors of meat-packing houses. Whether it is pork or beef that is stuffed into a hot dog, the meat trimmings are carefully selected just like the meat you buy in your grocer's coolers.

Mystery meat. I think it is a blend of pork, beef, turkey, bologna (the other mystery meat), and probably small furry woodland creatures as well!
Plus all those unhealthy chemical compounds strong enough to start your car in -30 weather.
Honestly though- I think that it is leftovers from a variety of animals.
Ick...
I only buy Beef.

That depends on what kind you want - it can be pork (usually), beef, chicken, or turkey, and they can also be vegetarian (probably tofu). The Hebrew National beef kosher (what did you expect from Hebrew National?) hot dogs aren't cheap but they are GOOD!

I've heard they're made of all the leftovers that don't go into steaks,ham,all that.But I don't know 100%

beef, chicken, pork, turkey, about every kinda meat that u can think of. but i don't care if they had poop in them, they still taste good. just like the middle of an oreo is lard, so what it's still good.

I can't remember. I know it's something that would proably gross you out and turn you off of eating them anymore. I heard about it once but I forgot what it was.
