I like the name Payton Jackson. What do people think of the name? My husband says he likes Payton but as a middle name. If anyone has any ideas for a first name, I'd appreciate it.

It's all up in the air as I don't even know what I'm having but I'd like to be prepared. I'm due 10-10-2007.

Payton Jackson sound very nice (of course your last name could be a factor!)...Have your husband pick out a girl's name and then you both can decide equally how you feel about all the names....

Well you have alot of time to think about it

I have a problem with payton as a first name. I just think it only works in certain areas. I don't know where you live though. Payton is ok, I dont know why I don't like it more. As a middle name I think it would be better

Oh lord, don't give your precious little baby boy a name that will give him a hard time in life. Presley? Preston? Caden? I wouldn't even imagine giving those names to a DOG! Why not name him after a family member, or at least a name that won't make him an easy target at school. Think of your child's future, please! Don't feel like you have to join in this new trend of ridiculous baby names. Have you considered Apple? Or how about Orange?

My nephew's name is PEYTON MICHAEL and I love it.. The only reason my brother agreed to the name was because of Peyton Manning but that was good enough for my sister to get him convinced..

What about Carter, Haydon, Cole, Blake, or Cooper.
Payton will be harder to put as a second name.
Good Luck.

Look...do you really want your son asking you how you thought of his name and you saying "Ugh...some stranger in this online community told me this name and I thought id just give it to you." ? I think you should think of a good name yourself or at least name him something that resembles everything you want him to become.
