I should think Americans feel the same way the British do. George Bush wanted to finish the business his father was stopped from finishing by the UN. Had we have gone on then and toppled Sadam things would have been different, but we didn't. Blair took the UK into an illegal war just to try to prove himself a world leader. The sad thing is that lives are being lost and for what? Will we never learn was it really worth all this death? We should all support our troops and get them out of there as soon as we can. What about the Iraqi people are they any better off? As for Islamic terrorism this would be happening and was happening long before the Iraq war. Members of the IRA were travelling to Muslim countries to train terrorists 10 to fifteen years ago. What saddens me is that when the British were being bombed, shot and maimed by terrorists America did nothing to stop the money flooding into to the IRA from their country and some American politicians actually encouraged the blood shed. All terrorism all killing of innocent human beings to enforce their will on others is vile and can never be tolerated.

The average thinking person in the USA probably doesn't feel good about Iraq. It's the same in the UK, the majority did not want the war in Iraq but that's democracy for you, you grin and bear it.
It does seem the world is not a safer place now.

I wish everyone from other countries would quit blaming the citizens of the USA for what our government is doing. THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! How much control do YOU have over what Tony Blair does???

No, I would say the majority of Americans don't feel good about whats happening in Iraq, no one in their right mind LIKES war and wants people to be killed (with the exception of terrorists that is). Until the election in 2008 rolls around, all we can do is wait it out. Bush's approval rating is at its lowest ever here. Quit blaming us!

No, I hate to see our troops get killed, my stomach cringes each time I hear about another one. I certainly don't feel safer with our troops in Iraq, because we need them to protect our country. If the American people (besides Bush) could vote on bringing our troops home, I'm sure that would happen.

No
Having just spent some time with my family and grandchildren over there, they feel almost the same as we do ,conned by the politicians and spy masters.
They hate bush and his government, but finding anybody who voted for him is like trying to find someone who voted for the evil and mad Maggie thatcher.
They are more lied to than us on their news,no full facts about whats going on.I feel sure we do not know everything but we are told much more than they are.
At last global warming has caught up with them due to recent balmy weather in the states, and they are really worried about that ,but are not being any of the real facts.

That is a 2 fold question. No we do not feel good about Iraq we would prefer the terrorists would realize that death and murder is not acceptable but sadly they are ignorant cowards. Yes I feel safer as long as we are fighting Al-Queda over there they are more busy there than they would be here. I have 2 sons over there and know they are keeping me safe and I pray to keep them safe.

I don't feel any safer now then I did before the war started.

As a matter a fact I feel like we've been poking at the mad wounded lion.....and he's just a lot madder and crazed now.

Who cares!

I hope the terrorists will finally realise that killing civilians will not change government policy. When they start thinking what to do next, i hope they start capping off some politicians.

I don't think anyone feels safer now.

i dont feel safer or less safe. I may or may not agree with the U.S. being there, but as long as we are there we got rid of a horrible dictator (even if we are there for oil)

Like the Germans that attacted little countries on Hitler;s self defense nonsense Americans are brainwashed in the same way of not thinking for themselves or ever admitting they;re wrong. They follow their fuhrer wherever he leads.
