47 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street

Operates every 15 minutes (although yesterday a signalling fault at Polmont led to the suspension of the entire service for a number of hours).

An alternative hourly service via the Calders leaves from Glasgow Central, but takes two hours! Some GNER trains to London start from Glasgow Central and operates via Carstairs and Edinbugh - it takes about an hour.
