There was a delay in processing my refund check and I called to figure out why. They told me I had a balance from 2004 that needed to be paid. She couldn't tell me when I would receive the remaining of my money. Has anyone had this problem, if so how long did it take to receive you refund check?

IT usually takes 6 weeks to get your check.

Thats the same problem I am having, i received the "reference 1121" code i called, i owed from 2002, there will be a small amount left for a refund, I am just not sure when I will receive it. Urggggh

Yes I did it was for a student loan and it took about 4 week for them to fix it and they sent back the little bit that was left... Your tax returned was "flagged"
