It sounds to me like what you are being taught
is not being put in an interesting or stimulating enough way.
Talk to your teacher.
If still no joy, talk to the head teacher.
Explain how you feel.
Ask if you can get special one-to-one extra help
if you have fallen behind in your class.
NEVER regard yourself as a retard.
You're a good kid because you care enough to ask this question.
& you need to stop beating yourself up over
the failure/s of boring lessons ETC.
Blame the adults, if you must blame,
for not getting it right for you.
That is their responsibility.
You are not a robot programmed to accept stuff that does not make sense to you.
Talk to your mom & dad too,
calmly so they understand you, & how YOU feel.
That's important, & YOU are important!
Just don't react angrily
cos that puts in the wrong & gives the "experts" the excuse to blame you.

What's DT? being bored in school, usually means you already know the material, or it is so far above your head, you can't even begin to catch up.
