Who cares? I watch the Superbowl for the football game. Half time is for the bathroom and a beer run.

This was in Miami Forget about the Halftime Show with Prince, about the National Anthem song by Billy Joel Insulted Me, and all those Celebrities like Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, and Bruce Willis, Ashton Kutcher is cool but having Gloria Estafan didn't made me proud for a Second.

Miami was a Terrible Host overall It Rained, Manning Imbressed the Bears and the Pre-game with Marino and Boomer is definelty a Turn-off for Me Personaly.

Next Year in Arizona and on FOX I'll watch a Pre-Game with Terry Howie and Jimmy Johnson, have Kelly Clarkson sing the National Anthem, and Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban perform the Halftime Show, but if Bears are back you'll Ashton, Demi and Bruce again I don't think you'll see Tom or Katie.

By the Way Bears will win the Super Bowl Next Year, they can win and anger their Opponents in Arizona.

Wait Next Year We'll Win Go Bears

The halftime show almost always sucks. How is Carrie Underwood or Kieth Urban better then Prince? How about John Madden and Mike Ditka roasting a pig while strippers dance to AC/DC.

I would never use the word good in the same sentence as Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, and aren't the two "performers" you mentioned a little bit feminine for football?

Perhaps the Super Bowl halftime show should be centric to the teams in the Super Bowl? Since Indy isn't a musical haven they could have had a race car theme with a good Chicago style rock band like Disturbed or Ministry, now both those bands are hard, like football.

I never watch the half time show, but from what I hear Prince did a good job.

I don't think Carrie Underwood nor Keith Urban have quite a big enough fan base to perform at a Super Bowl half time show.

Hate is such a strong word. Besides you have to appreciate the fact that he did it in the rain!!!! Just imagine at least 1 million people watching the half time show was singing Purple Rain along with Prince. Come on.......How can anybody not like a person who can play 20 instruments? Can Underwood or Urban do that?

I like some of Prince's music but the show definately lacked good qualities. I really didn't enjoy it very much the Halftime show keeps getting stranger every year... I also asked a question about the symbolism that Prince had in his show. Check out my question that I posted by clicking on the link below...

I hated the pre-game show - could it possibly have been any "gay-er"? And I mean that in the NEGATIVE sense of the word - what the heck did it have to do with FOOTBALL???

I'm not a huge Prince fan, but as a performer myself I wanted to see what he did and I thought he handled it well, but I was wondering when somebody was going to get electrocuted with all that electricity and all that rain water - who was the genius that scheduled a Super Bowl in an OPEN stadium? I'm guessing that will NOT happen again!

i presumed the educate grow to be tremendous, and they could nonetheless play. the mild educate grow to be extremely solid. yet look....the more youthful youngsters had their probability and they pushed the envelope too far and dropped the ball. They targeted on sex too a lot and not in any respect the music and leisure fee for the target market. you'll see better shows resembling this one for a lengthy time period. you may contain bands like John Mayer etc too. yet no...i presumed the music grow to be solid...solid ol' rock and roll toddler!!!
