last night was the worst night of my life..well it was this morning..i woke up at 2am with the worst cramps in my life ive never ever been in so much pain in my life..i finally got the balls to get up and get medicine and a heating pad but i didnt make it to the kitchen to get some i stopped at the bathroom..i felt like i was going to throw up it was crazy bc i never felt like that before..so i jus sat on the toilet with my head on my arm trying not to think about it and not get sick..i started getting really hot and started dripping sweat..then i finally got up and got the medicine and heating pad..then i knew i had to lay down so i grabbed a pillow and blanket from the living room and layed on the floor next to the bathroom..i then was freezing i was shaking i was so cold..it didnt make sense to me..at first i thought i was pregnant..but i got my period today so its all good..i talked to planned parenthood and they said i could be getting the flu or pnemonia..ever happened to you b4?

my boyfriend asked someone he works with and they said that happened to their girlfriend and shes on the pill and under stress thats why it happened to her..im the same way as her..but i dont have a temp and i have my pd..is it my pd or am i gonna get sick?

Hon you need to see the Doctor, you could have food poisoning or the start of the flu, or so many other things. Please call and at least talk to the Nurse at your Dr's office. Please! Good Luck.

I used to get those same intense cramps, sick feeling, sweating and lightheadedness like every other time I was on my period. The pain was so bad I actually vomited, and 2 or 3 times I even fainted.
After one seriously bad night when I was 15 my mom dragged me to her OB/Gyno first thing in the morning, who prescribed the pill to me immediately. Ever since then, I have been fine, but I am actually scared what will happen when I decide to stop taking it and try for a baby...

You definately need to speak with a professional. It is NOT normal to to feel that sick around period time. I take take birth control not just as a contraceptive but also to help lower mentral pains. It may be a combination of mentral and the flu but the flu doesn't not come on that strong.. it may be more serious. I would ask yourself about how well you take care of yourself.. eat well.. drink plenty of water, low stress.... those can all be factors. Your body may just need a break and it's FORCING you to take that break.

I use to get sick just like that on my 2nd and 3rd day of my period. It was terrible. I couldn't go to work and couldn't get out of bed. And yes I actually vomited the pain was so intense. I went on like that for about 25 years and childbirth didn't improve the situation either. About 6 years ago they finally diagnosed me with ovarian cyst and fibroids. The big H solved my problems. Perhaps you should go to the gynecologist and get checked if it continues any more.

i am always getting this even when im not on my period
what you experienced was maybe a mild panic attack or just your body reacting to the pain. if you was in immense pain, you start to feel sick and light headed, because you started sweating with probably the worry and not wanting to be sick, your body then got cold hense the shivering. if this does happen again see your doctor it was ost likley a result of the pain you was in
