I know people have said Backyard Hockey, and that gets my vote, but the NHL 2k series isn't too bad. It's not as technical as the EA brand and it still provides good video game hockey.

There's a kid's hockey game called Backyard Hockey, where the players are cute, cartoony kids with oversized heads, and I think the controls are easier than regular NHL07 or whatever.

My 6 yr. old likes playing NHL 2004. We have the Backyard game but he prefers the EA Sports game better. He has no problem with controls or understanding what to do.

i have one at home that my dad got me that i never used. probably from 2002-2003. lemieux is on the cover.
