After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
Aldous Huxley

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.
George Eliot

I hope this helps. I posted a link to the site if you are looking for something more specific. :)

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift..
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as who you become (by achieving your goals).

Where you start is not as important as where you finish.

People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.

F-a-a-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c !

You are WHAT you are, You are WHERE you are, because of what you put in your mind. You can CHANGE what you are, You can CHANGE where you are, by changing what you put in your mind.

It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude.

Expect the best, prepare for the worst.

Remember that life is hard, but when you are tough on yourself, life is going to be infinitely easier on you.

There's been 11 billion people to walk the face of this earth, but there's never been one like you!

Go with the flow.

"If you don't get lost, you can't be found." - From an art education textbook.

"Don't play what's there, play what's not there." - Miles Davis

"The notes I handle no better than many pianists. But the pauses between the notes --ah, that is where the art resides." - Artur Schnabel

"Too many pieces of music finish too long after the end." - Igor Stravinsky

"Talent works, genius creates." - Robert Schumann

Consider the hammer: It keeps its head. It doesen't fly off the handle. It keeps pounding away. It finds the point, then drives it home. It looks at the other side, too, and thus clinches the matter. It makes mistakes, but when it does, it starts all over.

Success is sweet, but its secret is sweat.

He who fiddles around seldom gets to lead the orchestra.

Heres a good quote, I just love it............

"If you deny childhood, you deny life.
They can't speak up for themselves so we
must. It's like, how do we define love,
it's a very, very deep feeling, but it's I think
the most important force of life."
"Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
it's at the end of your arm. As you get older,
you must remember that you have a second hand.
The first one is to help yourself, the second one is to help
others"
