Yesterday I've backed up my documents on my EDD to update them. Somehow one was removed from my main document to my external. When I went to it today, it didn't update what I've backed up yesterday and all is lost. All was just old from the last time I did it about two weeks ago. Is there a way to retrieve it? This is the second time it happened yesterday. Only this other document was backed-up.

I think I accidentally turned if off wrong, which cause me to lose or damage the data. I guess there's no possible way to retrieve it, like you would from your computer's HD?

Doesnt that mean it got backed up???
Your question doesnt make much sense...
Your files STAY in MY DOCUMENTS unless you delete them yourself. If they automatically went to your external drive, then they are backed up...
