make the sick ppl walk to the back to get perscriptions, while the healthy get to buy cigarettes in the front?

Because it's a farther run from the back of the store to the exit if someone decides to hold up the pharmacy to support their addiction.

That's funny, never thought about it that way. I know they put the pharmacy in the back of the store so that customers have to walk to the back and see more products in the store and hopefully the store will make more sales, it's called compulsive shopping. If the pharmacy was in front, most people would only get their prescriptions and leave and not buy anything else. I guess sooner or later the cigarette smokers will be walking to the back.

Because if the sick ppl were up front getting their prescriptions, then the smokers would buy less cigarettes not wanting to get sick themselves. You see, this is a Tobacco Industry conspiracy.

I so can not believe you asked this question I thought of that yesterday instead of getting the sickies in and out of the drugstore so not to spread their germs all over the whole place let's put the pharmacy in the back so the germs can spread throughout the whole damed place.

....They keep the cigarettes up front, so they can get the smoky smelling people out faster....
BUT....sick people also have the option of going through the drive through at most pharmacies

They don't do that anymore here,...but it is to keep the sick people active...sick people don't usually get up and get moving...this forces them too.

They don't sell cigarettes at any of the drug stores here.
