Each of us has a unique personality and opinions of our own. We are all different and we can learn a lot from people who have different views from ours. If we were all exactly alike wouldn't the world be a boring place? Accepting people as they are allows us to see that person for who they really are and to learn from their views and upbringing.

Because everyone is an individual. Yes, we are "classified" as white or black, male and female... etc... but everyone is different, and that makes out communities, cities, states, countries and the world a unique and colorful place to be.

Plus, this gives us options. If everything was the same, we would all work at the same place, eat the same food, go to the same "hot spots". People like different things, and by accetping others as they are makes us better people.

We are in controll of our lives only. You cannot change others. The best way to live happy is to love and respect those who love and respect you ( or haven't proven a reason to not like them ).
It's a colorful world out there full of fun! Enjoy it!

Because we can't change people, or their thinking--that's something they need to want to change themselves--if they are able to, and if they even want to.

People usually inherit many of their traits, and get the rest from the people who've been most close to them. Not everybody can be the same, think the same or act the same.
Also, not everyone has the same level of intelligence, and not everyone is good at everything.

If you are interested in long term relationships you must accept someone as one is. In this way the acceptance is true, the relationship is based on your true selves. If his true self is not of your like, just let him go.

In human relations, the real, the genuine is what is worth.

Because it's not up to you to decide how they're supposed to be.
No one is pefect but you don't have any power to change them. Accept them as they are and if you are lucky, people will accept you the way you are.

It's not. I don't accept racists or gay-bashers, and I never will. However, I accept their right to believe what they believe; I also accept my right to look down on them.

By doing so, I hope they will afford me the same courtesy. I think people are happier when they feel comfortable in their own skin.
