It depends on your definition of monument.

I'm going to go with the Gateway Arch in St. Louis at 630 ft since no one else has mentioned it.

The San Jacinto Monument in La Porte, TX is 570 ft and the Washington Monument is 555 ft.

Somehow a monument to the illegal incursion into Mexico glorified much in Texas seems inappropriate given the current fubar caused by another Texan.

San Jancinto Texas. I believe its that city. It's 15 feet bigger than the washington monument. I live in texas and its in our history books. Its where they defeated Santa Ana.
