Every laundromat has washers and dryers for about $1 each use and they are all over the place......or I think you can find a washer at the end of your arms....your two hands! Like the rest of the world that doesn't have things like that and still they have clean clothes. A dryer you can find outside and look up. It's that big yellow thing in the sky called a SUN. If you are really needy then a luxury like washer/dryer should be at the bottom of your list.

Some times there are many fairs in USA and the prices are cheap,or that things haven't a price so you can get them (a washer and a dryer) as free.

Or find one to buy extremely cheaply in the Trading Times (they have them from people who got new ones and want to get rid of the old ones cheaply - like 50$ or less for each).

Try the website called Freecycle.org
Once you are there, type in your city and state. Items listed on this website are totally free being given away by other people.

look in the yahoo groups under freecycle. they have local groups for almost every area of the country, you post what you need and if anyone belonging to the group knows of one then you make arrangements to pick it up. you might also want to check out the local churches, sometimes they will know of someone who can help.
