I recently knitted a scarf and it won't stop curling around the edges. I can't seem to do anything about it and I really want to stop it from curling so I can give it to the person I want to give it to. It's a cable knitted scarf, if that helps with anything.

Certain stitches in Knitting do that. You will have to block it once you are finished knitting the scarf. This site will show you how to do that.

Blocking should work well if you are using a natural fiber like wool or cotton. Unfortunately it probably won't work very well if you're using acrylic yarn. If the scarf is already completed and it's acrylic, you might be able to lessen the curling by doing a couple rows of crochet along the long edges. In the future, to keep the edges of a knitted scarf from curling, you can do a few stitches (maybe 4) in garter stitch at each edge of your scarf as you go.
