I have been trying since Sept. so I know how you feel. My doctor said a healthy couple only has about 20% chance of conceiving each month, because of the 24 hour window that you ovulate. And the average healthy couple takes up to 1 year to conceive. To relieve your mind you both could go to the doctor to get some advice. If we are not pregnant by March we are going to have some simple tests run just to be sure.
Also, you need to eat healthy, take prenatal vitamins, exercise, and reduce stress. He needs to be healthy also.
Some tips my doctor gave me is to use an ovulation kit (which we are going to try this month), don't get up right after for about 30 minutes and put a small pillow under your bottom to elevate pelvis just a little. Good luck to you

Four months isn't that long to go without getting pregnant. For me, when I wasn't trying I got pregnant. Now that my husband and I are trying, it has taken a long time. We have been trying for just over a year, but when the timing is right, it will happen. If you go longer than a year, at that point you should consider getting fertility tests done. Just make sure that you have your ovulation times nailed down. That is normally what is off.

I know most couples can take up to a year to concieve. However, 50 % of them will concieve within the first 4 months of trying if they look for ovulation and try to hit the mark.
I've had 4 babies. The first one I got pregnant the first month of trying. The second took me 3 months. The third was a suprise baby, and the fourth one it took 2 months of being off the pill and activily trying.
I'm trying again and hopeing to be as lucky as i've been in the past, but I also realise that it takes a bit longer the older you get.
Good luck to us both!!!!

Hello, I'm 22 and We have been TTC since July 06!!! I'm not pregnant yet!! But If your too stressesd over TTC , its harder for your body to conceive!! Its upsetting every month when your period comes, but You have to keep yourself calm!! Also maybe your not trying on the right days?? I think thats what our problem is!! My period comes every 32-34 days so its hard to determine exact ovulation!! But try every other day starting 10 days after your period!!
Good luck!!

I'm 22, we started trying in Sept. and just found out we're pregnant this month. Don't get discouraged, it will happen. Ask your dr. about Vitex. It's a natural supplement that I was taking to help with ovulation and I truly believe it helped. I just started taking it last month. Good luck!

My husband and I have been TTC for 8 years now... all I can tell you is go talk to your doctor, start charting too it helps to get an idea of what is going on.... I wish you all the best and hope that you do not have to deal with the pain of not having a child for as long as I have!

Our first son was concieved while we were using birth control..We'd just decided to have another baby when I found out I was already pregnant. Our 3rd son was concieved within a month of deciding we wanted another baby..Our daughter took more than a year and a half of trying to concieve.
