my first scan I shaved, after that I just let it grow because I had a scan almost every week and it hurt to much to shave. I think it depends on who you talk to on what they do. It doesn't really matter.Good luck

NO. You should keep shaving, especially if you are going to the hospital. Many American doctors say women are cleaner if they keep their pubic hair shaved. They say it's also easier for them to give women check-ups if they don't have big bushes down there to get in the way. No one at the hospital is going to laugh at you or think it's strange that you shave your pubic hair. Someone might comment about your appearance, but the truth is that a shaved pubic area is more sanitary than an unshaved area. I thought all doctors encouraged pregnant women to shave their pubic hair.

I'm like you, shaving because I think it looks neater. I continued to shave after I got pregnant until I delivered at 7 months. It was a little difficult to see over my belly, but I just felt for the prickly parts. If I really needed to, I'd ask my husband for help, but it wasn't that often. If you're able to do it and you like the way it looks better, then go for it.

I always shaved and when it got difficult in the later months I had my husband shave me!
