Operation Burn House did not occur in 2000, but prior to that during the Civil War going on in Sierra Leone at a proximately two other policies called "Pay Yourself" and "Operation no living thing." These were all perpetuated by the RUF (Revolutionary United Front) fighters and soldiers. If you are looking for one man to place these autrocities on you should then blame the RUF's leader Foday Sankoh who formed the RUF after forming an alliance with Charles Taylor of Liberia (Liberia former President) in 1991.
