Once I stopped breastfeeding my weightloss came to a screaming halt. I have been dieting and excercising, but I have only lost 1 pound in the last month. Before I weaned, I was losing at least 1-2 a week!
Weightwatchers has a program for nursing mothers - maybe you just need to change your diet and excercise habits to get the last of the weight off.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

The extra weight is there for a reason, as long as it is not an overabundance of weight. As you know you must eat healthy in order to keep you milk supply up however eating healthy does not mean over eating. Watch your intake and make adjustments as needed. When you stop nursing you may be inclined to gain some weight also as the body distributes the food else where. It depends on your body makeup, some women loose and others gain. Good food and exercise help.Good luck.
