If you're a girl and you know what skimmer shoes aka flats are, please answer sincerely.

What do you think about wearing socks with the skimmer shoes? Should I wear my skimmers with socks on or not? If I can wear socks what kind of sock should I wear?

It really depends on what you like the look of. You should definitely wear some type of sock under the shoe for shock and sweat absorption. Not to be disgusting, but many people will have trouble with this type of shoe becoming smelly if worn barefoot. This will happen due to the fact that the non natural materials do not allow moisture to evaporate.

A short sock that matches your outfit, or contrasts with some of the colors can look cute, or you can wear some of those "liner type socks" which are cut below the upper edge of the shoe.

I worked in sport shoe sales and management for many years, and had to help customers with this type of question constantly. If the shoe is a natural material, such as cotton or leather, it can be worn without socks, as it will breathe. You are chancing getting blisters from the stitching and any friction that can happen with the natural walking motion, so do not go sockless if you are going to be doing a lot of walking.

Hopefully, it will be warming up enough for spring and summer dressing soon. Don't think I will try it today, it's all the way up to 16 degrees F. here, and I don't think that I can handle that cute look with the multilayers of clothing. LOL Have a great day.

Skimmer Shoes

Usually with flats I don't wear socks, but when the weather outside is frightful I go with a pattern, bold color, or glittery sock that contrasts the skimmer shoes and gives a small pop to my outfit. If you aren't that bold do a neutral sock that is close to your complexion or one that is close to the color of the shoe.
This is assuming you are wearing pants with flats. If you are wearing a skirt or shorts with flats, skip the socks. Wear tights instead, or just the skimmer shoes. Something about socks and shorts just looks funny.

Flats are ballet flats so they have no heel. I personly find that they look really cute with skirts but also any jean or bremuda short. I think that they are kind of unconfrontable but thats just because I have something wrong with my arch so try them out and see if you like them!!

I like females in jeans. It creates them look more home town like and it doesn't appear to be they are trying too much but if you're trying to get this folks attention, this may not be what you want

I do enjoy putting on long skirts occasionally. They are actually convenient than Denims and also much less hot to wear.
