Malibu Rum or Vodka.
I also tried hypnotic with the blue jell-o and it turned out really good. But hypnotic isn't cheap enough to splurge on for jell-o shots.

Rum, Tequila and one time I used brandy but it wasn't all that good. If you use pineapple jello I recomend Rum with a bit of OJ. If you make lemon Jello, use tequila with a twist of lemon and a dash of salt.
If you are into hot stuff, you can also add some hot pepper powder to the tequila one, I like it, but not many people do.

Vodka...however, for my open house, we made long island ice tea jello shots..with ALL the liquors..now THAT was the sniznit.

I have used Vodka, and they are really strong so you have to find the right flavor to mix it with...
But my most favorite is.....
Malibu ( or any coconut rum ) and Blue Jello.... they are the best!!!
