Did I miss the Tigers Parade in Detroit or the Mavericks Parade in Dallas. Or the NHL Period. If you celebrate being #2 remind me not to hire you.

I've never heard of any city that celebrated a loss.
I guess it would be pretty funny if say the Yankees beat the Mets and the Mets tried to schedule their consolation parade on the same day as the Yankees. That would be a sporting event unto itself.

They should have some kind of celebration for the team making it to the superbowl. After all, it had been 21 years since the Bears made it to the Superbowl.

I didn't realize there were parades for second best (aka the first loser). Kinda pointless...but then again, I suppose people were planning things in advance, so gotta do something.
